PROJECT II: REPURPOSING

"I believe that the arts make indispensable contributions to our understanding."
- Philip Kitcher
For this project, we were invited to repurpose some other past academic, personal, or completely random work from our lives. I chose to do something rather recent, taking my final philosophy paper from last semesters course on science and objectivity and turning it into a more extensive piece to be (hopefully) published in one of the many undergraduate philosophy journals out there. My graduate student instructor gave me the inspiration months prior, suggesting I do just this since he thought that the idea of my paper had promise, that it could be further developed. So that's what I did. Click the button below and enjoy!
And if you happen to be interested in learning more about the trials and tribulations encountered while developing this paper, click the below button in order to see all of the somewhat saddening (and at times comedic) struggles—along with all of the smile-bringing successes, of course.

.

WARNING: The buttons above may lead to dicouragingly dense and lengthy reading for some viewers. Those with no background in fields of philosophy are especially subject to the possible side effects (including but not limited to: headache, nausea, and uncontrollable eye-rolling). If you think this might include you, fear not! I believe in your power to prevail. However, if you are unconvinced, here is an inspriational quote reminding you that:

"The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet."
- Aristotle
